The dress is made of French Chantilly lace and English Cluny lace
throughout the bodice, skirt and underskirt. The dress, made of ivory
and white satin gazar, was designed to emulate an opening flower. The
train measures almost nine feet long.
The lace applique for the bodice and skirt was hand-made by the Royal
School of Needlework. Individual flowers were hand-cut from lace and
hand-engineered onto ivory silk tulle to create the dress' design, which
incorporates the rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock. The back of the
dress was finished with 58 gazar and organza covered buttons fastened
by Rouleau loops.

Where to Buy 2 in 1 Ball Gown Wedding Dress
Brides who can't decide which dress to choose are opting to buy two dresses. The first dress for the ceremony and the second dress for the reception. Buying two dresses can get expensive so why not buy one dress and get two looks? As much as I like this idea I would warn you to be careful that the dress doesn't look like it is convertible. No one should realize that you can remove the skirt or change the look of the dress until you show up to the reception and show everyone your new look! You can give all of them a big surprise!
Many convertible wedding dresses have a removable skirts. That way you can have a more traditional length and silhouette for the ceremony and instead of bustling the dress you remove the bottom part of the dress to make it short! The traditional one is typically more classic in silhouette and more conservative in style and the second "party" dress is for dancing the night away.

Kim Kardashian Would Appreciate a Convertible Wedding Dress?
As 2013 nears to a close, there are so many celeb weddings to look forward to that we can barely keep count... From Kim Kardashian to Jessica Simpson to Lauren Conrad and more, these
are the gowns we'd love to see our favorite engaged starlets rock down
the aisle.
"There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue. She's like the most intriguing woman right now. She's got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday," Kanye West said during an interview with Ryan Seacrest.
We think that the outspoken groom would appreciate this ostrich skirt...
...which can be removed to reveal a shorter hemline later on in the evening during dancing. After all, a live musical performance is a must.
What do you think of it, will Kim Kardashian love it? And do you think that the convertible long to short wedding dresses will be hot after people saw Kim Kardashian with it? Do you want to try a 2 in 1 wedding dress? Maybe you can't afford a designer wedding dress, but you can buy one online, save you time and money in 2in1weddingdresses.com.

The Rise of Short Wedding Dress, Trains or Not?
How long you dare to wear a train? The length of the train will force you to walk and waltz a little differently, but wearing it will have you feeling like the princess bride as the train gloriously swishes behind you. You need to consider whether the train will be a separate piece of fabric that is detachable or will it be the same piece of fabric just an extension of your wedding dress. If you choose a train of heavy fabric, the first thing a bride and her bridesmaids must do is to learn how to bustle the train efficiently and gracefully. If you don't want to bustle your train, then have a detachable train fixed to your wedding dress with buttons, hooks, loops or snaps.
It may have taken 100 years, but the short wedding dress style made famous by fashion icon Coco Chanel is back, and better than ever. After the ceremony, you can choose a short dress, or buy a detachable train wedding dress at the first - a convertible wedding dress long to short with or without the train. The definition of short can vary as offerings from just above the ankle, while the bridal gowns available from just above or just below the knee. Some styles are even cut mid-thigh.Wearing a knee- or ankle-length gown can make moving around that much easier. If you're planning on dancing the night away then something that won't catch around your feet could be a safer option. One undeniable bonus of wearing a short wedding dress is that you can wear it out - as in, wear it more than once and make the most of owning something so stunning! With the option of dressing it up with heels and up-dos or down with flats, loose curls and jackets, the shorter wedding dress can be a versatile wardrobe staple. Fashion houses around the world are offering their versions of the short wedding dress, with big names like Marchesa, Monique Lhuillier, Oscar de la Renta and Jim Hjelm all sending this style of gown down the runway.Just think about the short and sweet Chanel couture dress actress Keira Knightley wore for her wedding in May this year.
Finally, with or without train, it's up to you, but remember to choose at least one short style.

Post-holiday sales can afford some amazing deals on ornaments and decor that will still look gorgeous in summer and spring. Keep your eyes open for glittery finds - white, silver, and gold can work in any season - or patterned paper to use as accents.
If your venue allows you to supply your own alcohol, the best time to stock up on bubbly is right after New Year's or Valentine's Day. Beautiful Details from A Romantic Foodie Wedding
"Our first date was a morning trip to the local market to pick up some
fresh herbs for Michael's garden," the groom explains. "Naturally, we
decided that would be the inspiration for our wedding theme." "Our florist Christine blew us away with her attention to detail, too," he adds. "She
blended fresh herbs with beautiful spring flowers. In fact, when I
got my boutonniere the first thing I did was eat one of the pink
peppercorns! It was perfect." Enjoy the details below:
